DMG Announces Incorporation of New Digital Asset Trust Company

DMG Blockchain Solutions announces the incorporation of a new Alberta-based digital asset trust company.  We have received approval from the Ministry of Treasury Board and Finance in the Province of Alberta for the incorporation of Systemic Trust Company (STC), a wholly owned subsidiary of DMG. 

Systemic Trust is working towards obtaining a certificate of registration, enabling it to offer secure custody of digital assets like bitcoin for institutional clients, including crypto trading platforms, banks, asset managers, corporations, and government agencies. This milestone marks a significant step in our mission to enhance the adoption of blockchain technology and trust within the Canadian cryptocurrency ecosystem.

In addition to traditional custody solutions pursued by the Systemic team, specifically for DMG's Core+ offerings, Systemic Trust will provide financial institutions the option to send bitcoin through DMG's Terra Pool, the world’s first carbon-neutral pool. This feature allows bitcoin transactions to be added to the blockchain without increasing carbon emissions or commingling with bad actors.

DMG believes that offering financial institutions this choice will help advance cryptocurrency adoption by ensuring transactions are compliant with regulatory and environmental policies.
